Dear Cornerstone Family,

Over the past several months, we have been grateful—and honestly amazed—by what God is doing in and through our church. With that growth has come a very real challenge: we are running out of room.

Back in August, we took an important step by moving our kids into their own service. That decision created more space in the sanctuary for adults, and it served our families well. Since then, however, God has continued to bring new people and new families, and once again we are finding ourselves at capacity.

Because of this, our elders, staff, ministry leaders, and life group leaders have spent significant time praying, talking, and exploring our options. We discussed everything from overflow rooms (which we simply don’t have space for), to building (which we are not ready to pursue), to adjusting our Sunday morning schedule. After weighing every option and counting the cost, we believe the clearest and wisest next step is to move to two Sunday morning services.

We want to be honest—this decision does not come without challenges. Two services will place new demands on our ministry leaders and teams, and it means we won’t always see everyone we love in one single gathering. That reality has been part of the prayerful process. Still, as we considered our mission and our calling, we are convinced that Jesus is asking us to take this step so we can make room for more people to encounter Him.

With that in mind, we plan to launch two services on Palm Sunday, as we prepare for Easter and continue forward from there.

Beginning Palm Sunday, our new service times will be:

10:00 AM

11:45 AM
